Sage & Lace Weddings was born from my own experience planning my destination wedding. What started as organizing one of the most meaningful days of my life quickly turned into a passion I couldn't ignore. I fell in love with the process of bringing hundreds of moving pieces together to create a day that felt effortless, personal, and unforgettable. After realizing how much joy I found in planning, I knew I wanted to help other couples experience that same excitement without the stress.
I made the leap to Arizona in 2024, and I’m absolutely captivated by the breathtaking beauty this incredible state has to offer. There’s truly no place like it on earth, providing an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. Every time I step outside, I’m awestruck by the stunning mountains and don’t get me started on those enchanting sunsets - wow!
By day, I thrive in the fast-paced world of a tech startup, where I blend my passion for people with the fascinating field of cybersecurity. You might be thinking, “Wait, cybersecurity? How does that connect to wedding planning?” While I love my day job, I felt a calling to channel my passion for planning and events into something that truly makes a difference. What could be more rewarding than helping couples create the day they’ve dreamed of their whole lives?
Known as the go-to planner among family and friends, I've always had a passion for bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences. Over the past year and a half, I've coordinated more than 40 weddings throughout the Valley, helping couples enjoy a seamless, stress-free celebration while creating memories they'll cherish for a lifetime.
Planning my own destination wedding from the ground up gave me an even deeper appreciation for the excitement, emotion, and countless details that go into such an important day. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach every wedding - with thoughtful organization, genuine care, and a commitment to making each celebration feel effortless.
It's a privilege to guide couples through one of the biggest milestones of their lives, and I can't wait to use my passion for planning to bring your vision to life and make your wedding day everything you've dreamed of.
When I’m not busy coordinating weddings, you’ll find me skiing, hiking, cooking up a storm, riding my horses, traveling to new destinations, or exploring the local restaurant scene. I’m also a proud dog mom to our adorable pup, Harley, who truly is the apple of my eye. My weekends often include attending church at CCV and going on adventures with my amazing husband, Bailey.

With our love for capturing beautiful moments, we pay close attention to every detail, from ensuring boutonnieres are pinned perfectly to making sure the maid of honor's hair is just right to preventing a surprise photobomb from Uncle Bob's dance moves! We’ll make sure the photographer can capture picture-perfect moments, so those little annoyances won’t steal the spotlight!

I'M KATIE
My love for weddings and events started at Arizona State University, where I studied Special Event Management and quickly fell in love with the world of celebrations. I’ve always been drawn to the details, the emotions, and the little moments that make a wedding day feel unforgettable.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a wedding planner, coordinator, and in event sales, which has given me a love and appreciation for every part of the planning process. I truly love getting to know couples, hearing their stories, and helping bring their vision to life. There is something so special about being trusted with such an important day, and I never take that for granted.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hiking, crafting, curled up with a good book, or listening to Taylor Swift. I’m also a proud cat mom to my two cats, Peanut and Butter, who bring lots of love, laughs, and a little chaos into my life.
I’ve always been a hopeless romantic at heart and absolutely love love. Being part of the wedding industry allows me to celebrate that every day, and I feel so lucky to help couples create memories they’ll cherish forever.

I believe every wedding should be an intentional reflection of a couple’s story: elegant, thoughtfully designed, and seamlessly executed. My passion for creating meaningful celebrations, combined with a love for organization and refined details, is what led me into the wedding industry. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of planning and coordinating weddings, and it has been one of the greatest joys of my career. There is nothing more rewarding than transforming a vision into an unforgettable experience and ensuring every detail is thoughtfully considered from beginning to end.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do and shapes the way I serve every couple; with excellence, integrity, and genuine care. Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find me enjoying a long walk, staying active through sports, or with a cup of coffee in hand. Those simple moments inspire the creativity and balance I bring to each celebration.
Known for my meticulous organization and eye for timeless design, I thrive behind the scenes where every timeline, detail, and carefully curated element comes together effortlessly. Some jokingly call my attention to detail “OCD,” but I simply believe that the smallest touches are often what make an event feel truly exceptional. My approach is centered on creating a calm, elevated experience that allows you to be fully present throughout your engagement and wedding day. From our first conversation to the final send-off, my goal is to ensure every moment feels effortless, every detail is intentional, and every celebration is beautifully unforgettable.
